The Budget Studio monolight Flash can be triggered through the camera with its included 12' sync cord, by another flash being fired and activating the built-in Photo-Slave, or through its open-flash test button. The translucent light produced by these Softboxes has been the photographer's friend for years. The new fabrics are much more resistant to the effects of heat, age and pollution. The color temperature of this new softbox is near neutral, and will stay that way.

This is a 3-section telescope cross bar for background support. Extend from 4 ft to 10 ft with 5/8" female sockets on both ends to lock on to any light stands. Holds canvas, muslin or paper.

| Customer Reviews: Value package; go with a higher Watt set July 2, 2010 7thGuest (Los Angeles, CA) I am not a professional phtographer and I wish I had purchased a higher Watt system since 320 Watt is NOT bright enough. I moved a 500 Watt lamp to the room for additional lighting. The light is yellowist instead of white; the flash is white, though. On the other hand, I could only buy one 300 Watt light for the same price. You cannot switch to higher Watt lights.
All parts are very strudy. May be I got a newer model than the other reviewers. The most cumbersome part of the setup is to assemble the soft boxes because forces is required to bend the bars in the right shape. Otherwise, setup is striaght forward. As mentioned by others, the back drops are very thin. I cover the ground with another white sheet beneath/behind the back drop. Otherwise, you may find undesire color shade from the background beneath/behind the white back drop. And yes, you may want to iron the backdrop if you don't want remove them in photoshop later.
Enjoy.
CowboyStudio 320 Watt PhotoStudio Monolight Flash Kit.. November 20, 2009 E. Gamble (ThePhotoGuy) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have several things to say aboiut my order.
Pros:
-I used standard shipping, and according to the time frame given. I recieved this is a very fast and timely manner. It took four buisiness days to be shipped to my location.
-All Items listed were shipped and arrived. ( i have not taken the muslin out and measure it yet...but I will and include that info my Video review)
-I have not tried it out very much except a few test shots on my son. But it appears to work very well. The power switch allows you to control the light output in a nice and easy manner.
-Setup was fast
-Taking it down, was EVEN FASTER! I only had my lights up with the softboxes on. But I was able to completely take the lights off, deconstruct the softboxes and fold up the stands and put them all in their original casing, including plastic bags, in about six minutes. (I will include the full setup times and deconstruction times...including the backdground muslin supports and muslins in my video review)
-Cheap, for what you get
Cons:
-NO INSTRUCTIONS CAME WITH THE EQUIPMENT. You can go to the cowboy studio website and download the PDF files...OR you can go to YOUTUBE and watch setup videos. Both were quite usefull.
-Any info that did come...was in a foreign language.
-No recievers or transmitters are included in this. You have to buy an additional $50 dollars worth of stuff. A transmitter/reciever combo and an additional reciever. (these are very cheaply made..or at least appear that way)
-The electrical cords from the lights arent that long..you will need some extension cords.
