I bought this for my Mac after first buying the mini DVI to VGA (my mistake by not paying close enough attention). It is a simple adapter that does exactly what it is supposed to do. The best part is not paying the retail price that one might pay at the Apple Store or even Best Buy or Frys.

This product is needed so that one can utilize powerpoint and other features with a projector or other devices. It is easy to use and just attaches to the other cable that would fit the pc.

Ive been using this for a couple months now with no issues. The display seems a little fuzzy at times, but I dont know if this is my screen or maybe just because it is VGA connection to my high def TV.

Other than that I used it with my Apple MacBook Pro MC024LL/A 17-Inch Laptop and my Apple Mac Pro MB871LL/A Desktop without issue.

Good price for this product as opposed to paying the hefty price tag for the apple version of this.

I gave up on my old desktop computer long ago and just use my laptop, but have this big beautiful monitor just sitting on my desk taking up space. I love having a second large monitor for working on stuff and this cheap little adapter works just fine. I've only had it a few weeks, but no problems at all. I have a 1 year old MacBook Pro and a DCL LCD monitor.
