Too smallJune 16, 2010 MarkV(Rockville, MD) This case is horrible. I scratched my ipod touch trying to cram it inside. Not worth your money!
iPod Touch 2G caseNovember 18, 2009 L. Porter(Kansas City, MO) I'll keep this short and to the point. I hated the way the stainless steel back of the iPod Touch 2G looked after about a weeks use, finger prints scratches etc..I purchased the Griffin case from Amazon, problem solved. As a plus the on/off switch at the top of the iPod Touch is no longer activated when I put it in my pocket. Make sure the screen is clean before installing the included screen protector, it's a good one. The black textured surface of the case makes it easier to hold and also makes it less conspicuous. This case has a nice tight fit and easy to install.
Stylish and Protective CaseSeptember 25, 2009 Amazon Reviewer29 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This case has got it all. It looks really great and stylish, but at the same time it offers a decent amount of protection. I finally decided on this case after trying many other cases. I tried cases from iskin, power support and incase. None of them were really functional and hardly provided any protection or value. I really like the fact that case has the easy dock feature to that you dont have to take off the whole case for it to work with certain docks and accessories. I also liked the fact the case came with its own screen protector. Although after trying it out I dont really like the screen protector. I do prefer the power support ones for my 3rd gen ipod touch. The case also makes it easy to access all the buttons on the touch like the volume controls on the side and the power button on the top. And the case doesnt come in the way of the dock or headphone jack on the bottom of the touch. Overall great product but I do wish it came with a better screen protector or no screen protector and just a lower price overall. I paid $35 plus tax and wish it was around $25-$30. Edit: After owning this case for less than 2 months, the case has started to come apart. The leather backing is pealing off. I have also noticed other things with this case. Like the case scratches the ipod backing. If you dont take your iPod out of the case then it probably wont scratch it. The volume controls are much harder to use with the case on. This case adds quit a bit of bulk to the iPod touch. Also I need to remove the bottom part of the case in order to use with the iHome speaker dock.
greatJuly 31, 2009 drquack works great! i love that i dont have to remove the whole cover to dock my ipod. also it covers everything but the screen and seemes to be some what shock resistant. this case is simple, looks great, and over all is the best one ive used.
Snug and elegant caseFebruary 14, 2009 trailrun(Boston, MA) I had a silicone case for my ipod touch 2g and then saw a coworker carrying around what looked like an ipod but had a leather back. After I asked him about it, he told me that the leather was from this case. I couldn't believe how well it matched the ipod and how it didn't add any bulk. The bottom part slides off for docking and most accessories that use the port will fit without the need to remove it. The volume controls are slightly hard to press, which is why I give it four stars and not five.
Oh, and the price here is unbeatable. The apple store wants $35 for the same thing.
