It's great for close-up and macro work (I dive Anilao mostly and it's the best macro spot in the world)...
It's small and easy to pack - the size of a pager (you remember what those things were?)
My photos went from bleh to yeah! I'm still no pro, but this has definitely made u/w photo a lot more fun and fulfilling without being prohibitive.
