It has been about half a year that I've had this case for my Sansa Player and it's holding up pretty well. The looks and accessibility of this type of case reflects upon its clever design. The reason I took off a star from the rating is because the joint between the case and the metal guard (that can flip out to make a stand) will eventually become loose due to wear and tear...which wasn't a huge deal for me so I basically super glued it permanently shut. The case may crack open when the the unit is accidently dropped (depending on height and angle). It still absorbs a lot of the impact. There are a lot of scratch marks on the case that I know, without it, those marks would've been on my Sansa Player instead. To this day, my Sansa Player still looks brand new. Compared to the other cases I've owned or researched, this one is by far the best.
