When you plug it in to your ipod, you will notice that it is wobbly and very loose. Horrible product design on their part for that.
But while you use it, it will work fine besides that.
After about 2 months, mine stopped transmitting.
Overall, this is a bad product. Do not buy.

Great Product, I loved it. Many people think that you cant charge your ipod by using this product but it has a mini-5 port usb connector which allows you to charge your ipod, and it also greaty helps amplify its signal making it sound clearer.

I followed some instructions I saw on a review here. I put the setting to International and LX mode and it worked pretty well! So far, I have not gotten any static. I use it with my iPhone 3G. I love being able to use Pandora in a car.
My only complaint is that the sound is SLIGHTLY muffled. Not too much of a big deal though.
