Works great with Windows 7 64-bit and a HP LaserJet 5SI Mopier. Truly plug and play no problems or concerns.
Works perfectApril 11, 2010 D. Gibbs(Torrance CA) Works great and just as promised. Have an older workhorse printer (HP Laserjet 5) with a parallel cable and this converter worked perfectly the first time and works for my desktop and laptop. Printer prints great and has lots of life so happy to find a cable that works so easily.

Worked great on a new PC running Windows 7 with an old HP Laserjet 4L. I just plugged it in and the PC immediately recognized the printer in the control pannel and I started printing. I did not need to load any drivers or do any configuration.
Worked for me after changing my printer port settingsFebruary 25, 2010 Kathy Swigart(Virginia) I had no trouble installing the Sabrent USB to DB25 Female Parallel Printer Cable. The product package says it will work for Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista and no driver required except for Windows 98 and they give a link for the driver. It also came with a driver disk which I am saving just in case but didn't need. I am running Windows XP Pro and it did not automatically detect the printer. I had to open my printer properties setup and change the port from LPT1 to USB. NO drivers required and it works just fine. This inexpensive fix saved me from having to buy a new color laser printer.
